The Government of Jharkhand State together with Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Government of India as the Partner Ministry, is organizing the 1^st “Momentum Jharkhand Global Investors” Summit on 16-17 February in Ranchi, the state capital of Jharkhand.

The initiative aims to ripen high value investment opportunities in Jharkhand, establish the state as a premier investment destination for Indian and foreign investors, showcase Jharkhand’s resourcefulness, pro-business environment and progressive policies to the investors.

 The State of Jharkhand is a leading mineral producing state and leading producer of steel, coal, mica and copper in India. With GSDP growth rate of 11%, Jharkhand is the second largest amongst the 20 major states in India and ranks the 5^th in FDI destinations, and also one of the key human resources hub with significant proportion of youth population. It is home to premier institutes like the Xavier School of Management (XLRI), National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur (NIT Jamshedpur), Indian Institute of Management Ranchi (IIM Ranchi), Birla Institute of Technology (BIT Mesra), Dhanbad, etc.

Key participants in the Summit will be policy makers, heads of foreign missions in India, CEOs of Indian and multinational companies, chambers of commerce and academicians.
