We are excited to extend to you the following invitation for the “Global Chemicals & Petrochemicals Manufacturing Hubs in India-2021” (GCPMH 2021) Summit which will be held on 25- 26 November, 2021 in New Delhi.

The event is organized by the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, in association with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and will be conducted in hybrid (Physical plus Digital) format.

The Chemicals and Petrochemicals Industry has been an integral part of the global economy and is one of the driving engines of
development in the manufacturing sector which helps in meeting basic needs and improving quality of life.

The Chemicals and Petrochemicals sector is expected to play a crucial role towards high growth trajectory of Indian Economy. The COVID outbreak has compelled the industry to move their supply base and look for locations that offer advantages of low-cost labour and favorable investment policies.

Toward this direction, the Government of India has undertaken various strategic initiatives to utilize the available opportunities to make India a preferred destination of investment globally and thus, improving the overall competitiveness quality and output of Indian Chemical and Petrochemical industry.

The maiden edition of the Summit i.e. “Global Chemicals & Petrochemicals Manufacturing Hubs in India” (GCPMH) held on 11 -12 November, 2019 witnessed an overwhelming participation with over 700 national and international delegates in respective forums.

This edition of the GCPMH will provide a grand overview of this fast-surging major sector of the Indian Economy and will be a platform for investors and other stakeholders to interact and forge alliances, highlighting and promoting segment wise investment opportunities in respective investment regions and thereby providing immense potential for trade and investment in a mutually beneficial way.
